SUPPORT the passage of bill S.3659B and A.6281A.
To amend Retirement and Social Security Law to treat illness or disease connected with 911 as accidental disability.

The Honorable George Pataki
Governor
State of New York
Executive Chambers
Albany, New York, 12224

Dear Governor Pataki:

As member of the New York City Police Department, I urge you wholeheartedly to SUPPORT the passage of bill S.3659B and A.6281A.

This bill amends retirement and social security law to ensure that public employees are eligible for accidental disability if they incur or contract injuries, illness or diseases which can be traced to the work performed in connection with the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

The State of New York should recognize the heroes who served and performed selflessly, during and after the attacks on the World Trade Center sites.

As dedicated New York City Police Officers of all ranks, We strongly urge you to sign bill S.3659B/ A.6281A into law. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely;
